We’re delighted to introduce a new series of ‘In Conversation’ events, commencing in The Barn at Calcot, this summer. The events have been launched to bring together guests and otherwise over engaging evenings of fantastic food, drink and conversations spanning love, life lessons, literature and everything in between.
On Thursday 30 August, Calcot will play host to Bryony Gordon, the much-loved Telegraph journalist and best-selling author of ‘Mad Girl’, ‘The Wrong Knickers’ and most recently ‘Eat, Drink, Run’, which chronicles her courageous marathon mission and how running saved her life. Bryony is an avid advocate for mental health issues, founding the walking group Mental Health Mates, raising vital awareness for Royals Charity Heads Together, and starting her own podcast Mad World, which kicked off with none other than Prince Harry and has included Stephen Fry, Melissa Hemsley and Fearne Cotton, amongst others.
Starts at 6.30pm. Price includes a feast from the wood fire oven and a cocktail on arrival.
